Privacy Policy
Drawie · Last updated November 4, 2026
Drawie doesn’t collect your data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the app doesn’t send anything over the internet. What you draw and the pictures you use stay on your iPhone or iPad, and we never see them.
What stays on your device
- The camera. While you trace, Drawie shows the camera’s live picture of your paper. It isn’t saved, unless you record a time-lapse (below).
- Your pictures. When you pick a photo, take one or type words to trace, Drawie keeps a copy and its lines in the app, so you can draw it again. Delete it in the app with a long press.
- Your drawings. When you finish, you can take or pick a photo of your drawing. Drawie keeps it with the picture you traced, to make your before-and-after card. Delete it in the app.
- Time-lapses. If you record one, the camera recording stays in the app until the time-lapse is made, and is then deleted. The time-lapse goes to your Photos only if you tap Save, and to others only if you share it.
- Your progress. Your level, the days you drew, your streak and your badges.
Like other apps’ files, these are part of your device’s backup if you back it up to iCloud or a computer. Drawie has no other copy.
Apple features the app uses
These run under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We don’t receive anything from them.
- Photos. You choose a photo with Apple’s photo picker; Drawie only sees the photo you pick. Saving a time-lapse asks for permission to add to your Photos, not to read them.
- Make a picture. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Make a picture opens Apple’s Image Playground. What you type there goes to Apple’s Image Playground, not to us, and Drawie receives only the picture you choose.
- Turning a photo into lines, finding its subject and straightening the photo of your drawing all happen on your device.
Sharing
Drawie shares a drawing card or a time-lapse only when you tap Share, and only to the place you pick.
